Mediterranean Spirit
Our new stylish 93-key hotel, Zannier Île de Bendor opened its doors on May 1st, 2026 after a five-year transformation of Île de Bendor, one of the Côte d’Azur’s most famous private islands.
Zannier Île de Bendor opened on May 1 st 2026 following a meticulous five-year transformation of one of France’s most iconic private islands, Île de Bendor in the bay of Bandol, Provence. The island was first brought to life and made famous by Pastis pioneer, Paul Ricard in the 1950’s, who shaped the island to his image, making it a social and cultural hub immersed in truly authentic Mediterranean lifestyle. Zannier Île de Bendor will bring a new era of “magic” to the seven-hectare private island as one-of-a-kind destination rooted in conviviality and culture. A stylish hotel will offer 93 keys and a choice of old world glamour or family-friendly natural beauty in three locations on the island. Nestled among beautifully restored Mediterranean gardens, a lovely harbour, an iconic sand beach and pristine shores, will be a Provencal-style village and an array of eight restaurants and bars – including the second outpost of the group’s immersive dining concept, Nonna Bazaar – alongside a beach cove, diving centre, curated artisan village, an expansive wellbeing centre (1200 sqm), sports and outdoor activities.
